you have a ton of time to think about stuff…
i am not apologizing in advance for anything you may not agree with/like/stand for/understand. that’s how i roll. but in the last hour i started a mental list of random things. pretty random actually. so here it is.
i don’t understand:
-why is the sky in L.A. so gloomy? oh, i forget…that’s smog.
-why i would wish for bad things to happen to some people. definitely no one from work though.
-if overly obese people feel inclined to order a salad when they go out to eat for the fear of being judged. wait a minute, am i judging by just saying that?
-why men think it’s okay to wear a LEATHER BLAZER JACKET. ummm, it freaking summer and you are not an extra in a soprano’s episode. though i know the show ended a few years back. i’m just saying.
-when someone is pouring a bottle, can or mini carafe of wine shake it towards the end to get every last drop, when it’s empty it’s empty. makes me uncomfortable when they continue to shake when it’s obviously been dumped into you glass.
-why it’s so hard for me to look away at amputees. i’ve been at 2 airports today so far and i’ve spotted three. 2 with missing right arms and 1 in a wheelchair missing both legs. i couldn’t imagine not having limbs. for one, it would certainly be hard to cork a bottle of wine and two, i don’t think i’d be able to do the standing poses for bikram yoga.
-BO (body odor) enough said.
-why people don’t check their luggage in. just because it’s called a carry-on doesn’t mean you should. imagine how much faster it would be to get on and off the plane people. pay the $20. that’s like 5 lattes, a small bag of weed, 20 pushes at the $1 slot machine, or 5 panties for $20 at victoria secrets.
-dainty eaters.
-diversity. sometimes it makes sense but at other times it doesn’t. i know that sounds funny coming from me as i am filipino-american.
- (hypothetically) why if you ask for a day off a manager would tell you “i would advise against it” then say you’re more than welcome to do take it off because that is what vacation days are for but reiterate “but i would still advise against it.
guess that’s all, i’m sure i’ll spend the next couple hours pondering useless topics. maybe talk to myself. i don’t know. what i do know is i’m pretty tired and can’t wait to sleep in my own bed tonight. especially shampoo and conditioner as i forgot to bring some on this trip.
p.s. comment if you like but don’t bother if you are those who like to comment on comments and turn this into a political debate.
